My name is Paul Thompson. I run WinCore Homes along with my wife Lucy, where we buy and sell houses and small apartments. We are focused on understanding people’s needs and finding a solution that works for them.
We named our business WinCore Homes because our core value is that each deal has to be a win: win for everyone involved. We want our sellers to walk away from the transaction feeling empowered and excited to move forward with their lives.
We chose real estate and single-family houses in Little Rock because everyone needs a place to live. For most people buying or selling a house is the biggest transaction in their life…and we understand that. We’ve made it our mission to know everything possible about real estate. We continually strive to forever invest in our greatest asset, which is our knowledge of the industry.
We serve Little Rock, North Little Rock, Benton, Bryant, Cabot, Jacksonville, Maumelle, and Sherwood.
Paul Thompson grew up in Texarkana, TX, and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Computer Engineering. He earned his master’s degree in Business Administration at UALR. He worked in corporate American for 17 years before striking out on his on as a full-time investor. He enjoys publishing his weekly podcast Ready Investor One, physical fitness and having engaging conversations with interesting people. He currently serves as President of the Little Rock Landlord Association. He is an active member of the local Real Estate Investors Association. He also hosts a local Meetup group called ‘Self Directed Investing’ where he helps educate people on how to invest their Qualified Retirement Plans (IRAs, 401k’s, 403b’s) in alternative investments such as real estate, promissory notes, and options.
Lucy Thompson is married to Paul and they have two young children, Andrew and Sara Kate. She grew up in Batesville, AR and graduated from Hendrix College in Conway. After working as a Grants Coordinator for the Arkansas Department of Rural Services, Lucy stayed home with Andrew and then Sara Kate as well. She enjoys reading and is a huge fan of the Central Arkansas Library System. Lucy is excited to help people find a house they can call home.
Our vision is to enable others to realize their freedom and a slice of the American dream. You can still raise your family in a clean, affordable, and safe home in Little Rock.
If you are crushed by debt, panicked and scared, we have the knowledge that can set you free. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and we can help relieve that stress with a quick-easy-fair solution. We know how to structure the paperwork so you are protected. And we can do the repairs on the house so you can move on with life.
We know what it’s like. In Paul’s early twenties his grandmother passed away and her house ended up going back to the bank because the family didn’t know what to do. At the time, Paul didn’t know the strategies that can preserve people’s credit and equity. Had he known then all that he has learned since the family could have sold the house and enjoyed some of the benefits of it instead of losing it to the bank.
Not every problem is the same and not every problem has the same answer. Sometimes it takes a 3rd party to come in and create a mutually beneficial solution so that everyone wins. Even the banks. They don’t want foreclosures on their books or beat-up vacant houses to repair.
Let us put our knowledge to work for you.
